Image Sign
is a utility to digitally sign images and store the
signature within them in a comment block. This allows the images to be viewed
as normal but their integrity can easily be verified with no extra information.
Currently, Image Sign
is beta code: that is, it appears to be
usable, and its structure will probably only grow or stay the same rather
than rearranging totally.
Note that currently only images in JPEG format are supported.
The following programs are required:
- mktemp [RPMs]
- GNU Privacy Guard (gpg) [RPMs]
- file [RPMs]
- rdjpgcom, wrjpgcom [RPMs]
