ArcLynx
*******

This is a simple offline text-only HTML browser, written so that
pages written at home can be viewed approximately as they would
appear in an old browser such as Lynx. It is not a particularly
accurate interpreter of HTML, but it gives the general idea. This
is only version 0.20, so there are probably a few bugs - but the
source code is included; fix them yourself...

To use, put the file "arclynx" into Run$Path somewhere and type
"arclynx filename" where 'filename' is the file you want to start
with. Note that HTML files must be have their type set to HTML
(&FAF). "arclynx" is inside the !ArcLynx directory.

If that means nothing to you, don't worry too much, just put the
!ArcLynx application somewhere useful and set the filetype of all
your HTML files to FAF or HTML using either *SetType or, with
Risc OS 3 or above, the Filer "set type" option. Having
double-clicked !ArcLynx you will then be able to double-click any
HTML file to view it.

To delete the source code, just get rid of the directories
"c", "h" and "o", and delete the file "Makefile".

More information about the program can be found in "c.arclynx"
(the part of the source code containing the main() function).
I've split the functions over several files, to reduce
compilation time when altering just one or two functions. I
think I've done it right, but I can't be sure since, like the
whole program in general, I just made it up...

I hereby renounce all responsibility for loss of data, loss of
sanity, loss of life, loss of bananas, etc arising from the use,
correct or otherwise, of this program. It is supplied without
warranty, because it is free. And rather poo. Please don't go
selling it or altering it without telling me first; if you
improve it then I wouldn't mind updating my copy.

Anyway, I hope it's of some use, and I hope you have hours of fun
laughing at my C programming...
