Server failure
The server on which this web site is (was) hosted has suffered a failure.
I have tried rebooting, but it won't come back up.
Unfortunately I cannot get through to the support staff at the facility where it is located, so I can't do anything other than wait.
In the meantime, user data has been restored from a 1-week-old off-site backup and services have been moved to my home machine, running off my ADSL connection. Until the DNS changes propagate fully, service may be intermittent and some email may not get through. Also, my Internet connection is not that fast and my PC is not that powerful, so some slowdowns may be noticeable.
Users of the server can log in via SSH and type "bbs" for more
information.
